Photography Assignment One - Golden Ratio

Dear Friends,

I am starting a section where, I'll post some photography assignments. I'll post one theme, based on which you have to submit your photographs. All photographs submitted in this assignment, will remain your ownership. Others can comment on those. One can also submit URL to the Photopage.

The first assignment in this series is GOLDEN RATIO.

Golden ratio is one of the rules of composition. At least since the Renaissance, many artists and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing. Mathematicians have studied the golden ratio because of its unique and interesting properties.

Loosely related to the rule of thirds is the Golden Ratio also referenced to the Golden Rectangle. The shape of the Golden Ratio in physical form is supposed to be considered very esthetically pleasing to humans. One of the most interesting graphic forms of the Golden Ratio is the nautilus shell and the way the shell starts from a central origin and then spirals outward around itself until it reaches the horn or opening of the shell where the cephalopod's head is located.

For understanding and inspiration you can check here on Google image search.

To start the topic, here is my submission.

Looking forward for C&C and your submissions.
