some macros with sigma 105mm

Recently I purchased a Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX Macro lens. I wanted to buy this lens for a long. This is a beautiful lens with an excellent sharpness and great Depth of Field (DoF). Sharing first few shots I took with this lens.

These are some marigold flower that I shot in my company garden. Lens used was Sigma 70-100 APO DG Macro.

After rains, this spider net was loaded with tiny water drops, as if this rich spider is netting pearls.

After saving themselves from rains, these pigeons were cleaning themselves and were getting ready for the new flight.

Last weekend I tested my Sigma 70-300 APO DG  Macro in my terrace. Took some flower closeups and macros handheld. Sharing them with you here.

1. These are flowers of Tulasi. Technical name "Ocimum tenuiflorum"

lotus buds..

Took this in my native in konkan. The pond behind our wadi, was full of such lotus buds..

First Rain..

Monsoon has arrived, and this time in time.. as per predictions by  Indian Meteorological Department :D

Last week it showered heavily in Pune. I could manage to capture the drops of first rains.
